In light of newly introduced ILDTS (International Long Distance Telecommunication Services) Policy 2011, BTRC have issued new ICX (Inter Connection Exchange) licenses.
Voicetel Limited, a company wherein Karnaphuli holds a majority equity, is a licensed Inter Connection Exchange (ICX) service provider. All inter operator calls are switched through ICX and similarly, all international voice traffic to and from Bangladesh are routed through these exchanges.
